Goldilocks and the Three Bears knew how to start the day well. Swap the cereal for a bowl of hot porridge for a great source of energy keeping the blood sugar nice and balanced. They contain a certain type of fibre called beta-glucan which can help lower cholesterol levels reducing risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Ditch the sugary syrups and top with nuts, seeds and fresh fruits.
